G and the 1/2 Fraction

StrikerS has finally come out, and it does not disappoint. With this first episode it brings in the new characters and brings back most of the old characters. However, some characters like Arf, Yunno, and Chrono are missing. I just hope that they come in soon, also I wonder if it will follow the manga, how much, or any. Anyway, onward!

The New people: Subaru and Teana

Really this episode was more toward the new characters and get them introduced and all of that jazz. So, why not introduce them with a ranking mission? These are, of course, Subaru and Teana. Subaru uses a huge mecha arm really, sure it’s a gauntlet, but hey same thing. Subaru also uses Rollerblades, for speed I assume since gauntlet is close range. However in this episode, they were not her ‘magic’ ones. Teana uses a gun (in this episode it should become two guns). Their goal is to go from rank C to B, but unknown to them, they are being watched by Fate, Nanoha, and Hayate for some still unknown reason other than having them for a team of some sort.

So with this episode, being a huge mission, it shows whats the two girls can do. Subaru is a very close up fighter with very limited long range, and one of her specials is the ‘Divine Buster’. Teana is the long range fighter, since she does use a gun. Then in this episode it comes equipped with 1 or 2 bullet slots and a grappling hook. Though near the end of the episode, she makes quite a few illusions.

Overall, this is a great start to the series. It looks there is a lot to come and with both new and old characters to come in, then who knows after that. I love how this series is going more with the organization, I always thought that was a cool idea to have with magic and I hope it will be used more and turn out well. Now I just need a way to be different from the million other blogs who will post this series.
